A Photography Exhibition by the Photography and New Media Class of the Mozarteum University, in Cooperation with the Salzburg Museum.
4.12.2015 until 31.1.2016
About the exhibition
The exhibition shows works that resulted from a cooperative venture between the Salzburg Museum and the class for photography and new media at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. The photos were taken in the course of a project to design a new portfolio for the museum’s education programme. The students were free in their creative work to engage not only with the museum in itself, the museum as institution, but also with the concept of museum education and the special agenda of a museum. The experiences and ideas generated out of this venture underline the ties and collaborative solidarity binding the group, even if the works being shown are to be seen as autonomous works of art – shaped by the students’ subjective relationship to the museum and the statement based on it.
