Sound of Music Salzburg: A new location of the Salzburg Museum
In the park of Hellbrunn Palace is the legendary gazebo, the only film set from “The Sound of Music” that remains in Salzburg. Close by, in the building known as the Jäger- und Tierwärterhaus (Hunters’ and Zookeepers’ Lodge), the Salzburg Museum has opened a further location entitled “Sound of Music Salzburg”. The historic building has been extensively adapted for its new use. You can learn more about the construction project here.
“Sound of Music Salzburg” invites visitors on a unique journey of discovery into the world of the famous Hollywood film, the musical, and the true story of the von Trapp family.
