Items in the collection with a turbulent history formed the starting point for an exhibition that placed the provenance research of Salzburg Museum in dialogue with contemporary projects on the subject of the Nazi era and cultures of remembrance. Works by artists Sophie Thun, Tatiana Lecomte and Thomas Geiger are displayed alongside pieces from Salzburg Museum that have already been restituted and some that have not yet been returned.
