At the Orangerie Salzburg, a special focus of UNESCO World Heritage communication is placed on digital and multimedia experiences. These include films, AI-generated animations, and several digital stations developed in collaboration with the Futurelab of Ars Electronica Futurelab. The overall program is designed to provide an exciting, varied, and informative exploration of Salzburg as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The interactive stations are also perfectly suited for a cross-generational museum visit.
All digital and multimedia experiences are located in the specially designed forum area of the Orangerie Salzburg. This museum space was created as an open meeting and interaction zone for both groups and individual visitors, featuring tiered seating, multimedia stations, and a large-scale video wall. The entire setting invites visitors to acquire knowledge, discover new topics, and try out the various offerings, while also encouraging discussion, questions, and the sharing of ideas.
